our opinion: Boutique hotel with great central location, on a quiet street close to Temple Bar and Grafton Street. The trendy lobby with its wooden floors, modern furniture and vivid colour scheme is a good introduction to this stylish property. Elegant, fashionable bedrooms are furnished to a high standard in either a contemporary or traditional style using plush furnishings and fittings. Facilities include a fashionable restaurant and cocktail bar, café lounge with piano on selected evenings and a relaxing residents' lounge. This hotel has a lovely ambience and prides itself on attention to detail and quality of service.

our opinion: This newly opened hotel enjoys a great location just 5 minutes walk from St Marks square. The hotel has retained the charm of the original building, many rooms having original frescoed ceilings. Bedrooms are of a good size with all modern facilities, decorated in an elegant Venetian style. The hotel is professionally run yet offers a friendly, personalised service.

our opinion: Located on the scenic Antrim coast only 20 miles (32km) from Belfast, The Ballygally Castle hotel faces the sandy beaches of Ballygally Bay. The original part of the hotel is a castle dating from 1625. The 44 bedrooms have been furnished in a traditional style with antique pine furniture. The famous Giants Causeway is close to the hotel as well as golf and fishing. But beware, you may bump into the friendly resident ghost!

our opinion: Brand New 4 star deluxe property in the heart of the Old Town of Prague just a few metres away from the "Prasna brana" (Powder Tower). It is an historical art nouveau building which has been restored to its former glory. The interior has sympathetically married the traditional with modern design. 130 modern style bedrooms with air-conditioning, floor heating and sound proof windows. Rooms are of average size due to the nature of older building in the centre of Prague.

our opinion: Contemporary hotel offering a high standard of accommodation and a minimalist decorative style throughout. Bedrooms have parquet flooring, warm red tones and modern amenities, and many have views of the sea. There is a bright café bar which also has seating for more formal dining. Located in the up and coming '22 @' district, the hotel is just a short stroll to Bogatell beach and a few minutes by metro to the busier shopping and tourist areas.

our opinion: Great little family-run hotel on a tree lined road leading to the seafront and Bajondillo beach, and situated below the centre of town. There is a welcoming reception, cheerful lobby and bright bar area. The small restaurant overlooks the attractive pool and terrace area. Bedrooms are pleasantly furnished to a good standard.

our opinion: Impressive hotel mixing modern design and architecture with Moorish influences, notably in the mosaic flooring of the lobby. Bedrooms are well equipped and furnished to a high standard with a balcony or terrace looking out to the pool area. The large outdoor pool is in the centre of the hotel and there is also an attractive circular indoor pool. The hotel offers buffet restaurant and grill, bars, and health club.

You decided the location of the Bellevue Hotel in Amsterdam was the best
facilities at Bellevue: 
our opinion: Opened in March 2005 this modern property enjoys a prime central location, just a short walk from Central Station. Although new, the hotel's façade is in keeping with it's original, traditional style. Minimalist contemporary style bedrooms are predominantly white with a hint of blue, green or sand which the designer chose to represent the colours of the Dutch landscape. The owners of the hotel also own the adjoining café, reputedly the oldest in the city, dating back to 1606 where guests are free to sign their purchases to their room.

our opinion: With a great central location on the Paseo Maritimo, looking out over the bay of Palma, the Costa Azul offers a good standard of accommodation and amenities. Bedrooms are contemporary in design and many have a balcony with seaview. There is a swimming pool, covered in winter, and sun terrace. The modern café bar has occasional live music.

our opinion: In the heart of the Old Town near Piazza Montecitorio, this hotel has a prime location on Via del Corso, one of Rome's main shopping streets. Housed in a 16th century building with some interesting history. This is a traditonal and tastefully decorated hotel that is recently refurbished throughout in a modern classic style.
